Water to be released for paddy crop

A meeting of the advisory committee on Malampuzha, Mangalam and Pothundy dams, held here on Tuesday, decided to release water for the second crop of paddy from November 14.

The water from Malampuzha, the biggest irrigation dam in the State, will be released through the left bank canal from November 14 and the right bank canal from November 20.

The water from the Mangalam and Pothundy dams will be released from November 15.
