A 27-year-old housewife along with her two daughters Nandini (5) and Soumya (five months) committed suicide by jumping into Pocharam canal at her native village Akkampally under Tandur gram panchayat limits of Nagireddypet mandal, on Tuesday morning.
Vinoda, wife of Jodu Sailu, an autorickshaw driver, used to quarrel with each other after the birth of second daughter. Sailu reportedly harassed her for giving birth to a female child in her second delivery. As usual, they clashed last night also and unable to bear the torture she decided to end her life along with her daughters. After throwing the daughters in the canal she too jumped into it. – Special Correspondent
