Two killed, eight injured in Medak road accident

Two persons were killed and eight injured in a road accident that took place at Kottur in Ramachandrapuram mandal of Medak district on Monday morning.

According to Ramachandrapuram Circle Inspector Narender Reddy, a vehicle coming from Maharashtra to Chandrayanagutta in the city with 10-member Qawalli party lost control and hit a divider while trying to overtake a heavy vehicle. While two persons- Anwar (40) and Sayyad (50) – died on the spot another eight persons were injured.

They were shifted to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. Ramachandrapuram police registered a case and are investigating.
