An anthology of Telugu translation of English essays by noted Marxist economist Prabhat Patnaik was released at a function in Madhira on Friday.
It was translated by Prajashakti editorial board member Nelluri Narasimha Rao, according to a press release.
District conference
The book titled “Prapanchikarana-Bharatha Desham” was formally released by the CPI(M) Polit Bureau member B.V. Raghavulu at a programme held in connection with the three-day district conference of the party, which got underway in Madhira on Friday.
CPI (M) Telangana State secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram, Bhadrachalam MLA Sunnam Rajaiah, Editor of Prajashakti Telangana edition, S. Veeraiah and others were present.
The book was made available for sale at a concessional price of Rs. 100 at the Prajashakti bookstall in the town.
Meanwhile, a Prajashakti mobile book exhibition was inaugurated at the venue of the conference.
