‘Siddipet will be made district’

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao promised to make Siddipet as a separate district shortly. Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao, who was here on Wednesday for the first time after becoming Chief Minister, participated in a programme held at NGO Bhavan and said that he would do whatever possible for Siddipet which honoured him by getting elected to Assembly several times and gave him a political life.

“Not only making Siddipet a district would be a reality, but this would be also connected with railway line and will have a national connectivity. I am also promising you irrigation water,” he told a huge gathering.

Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao received a rousing reception when he came to the town and people showered flowers when he was travelling on the road.
