Probe ordered into irregularities in transfers

District Collector V. Karuna has ordered an inquiry into the alleged irregularities that took place in the recent transfers of government teachers in the district.

Additional Joint Collector S. Tirupathi Rao has been appointed as the investigation officer to probe into allegations being levelled against the District Education Officer Y. Chandramohan.

The Collector directed him to complete the investigation within seven days and submit a report. The teachers and general public having any information on the issue may send text or voice messages to the investigating officer’s number: 9676882020 on or before August 4. Meanwhile, it was learnt that the Director of School Education Satyanarayana Reddy has already launched a probe into the issue and reportedly seized important documents from the District Education Office.
