Telangana State Home secretary B Venkatesham was all praise for the Karimnagar district police for its people friendly

policing and welfare programmes for the police personnel. The State Home Secretary visited the Karimnagar town on Saturday and inspected the district police headquarters.

He inspected the police stores, open air theatre, guest house, gym, unit hospital, special accommodation for the police martyrs families etc. On this occasion, he assured to sanction funds for the construction of new building for the District police office (DPO), which was presently functioning of old building. He also assured to take measures for the filling up of vacant posts.

Collector Neetu Kumari Prasad, Joint Collector Pausami Bsu, Additional SP (admn) B Janardhan Reddy, OSD L Subbarayudu, Special Branch DSP Prabhakar and others were also present.
