National seminar on Public Relations

The Department of Mass Communication, Telangana University, will organise a one-day national seminar on ‘Public Relations Practices in Digital Era’ on the university campus on April 7.

The seminar will offer a platform for a thorough debate on the subject of public relations, said seminar convener K. Rajaram.

The advent of social networking sites and digital technology, and the consequent changes as to how the society is communicating and their impact on public relation practices will be debated in detail.

Paper presentation

Around 100 delegates from different universities and other institutes from across the country are expected to participate and present papers.

The seminar will be held at the seminar hall of the Computer Science and Engineering College on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Assistant professors G. Chandrasekhar and P. Shantha Bai will act as the seminar co-conveners. Those who are interested can come and directly register on the spot to present a paper.

Besides students of Mass Communication and Journalism, students and research scholars of Business Management can also present papers the subject of ‘Corporate Social Responsibility and Public Relations’.
