Tension prevailed in Hanamkonda in Telangana ahead of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP president N.Chandrababu Naidu's visit to address party workers after the dais and cutouts at the venue were allegedly burnt by activists of Madiga Reservation Porata Samihti (MRPS).

Senior TDP leader from Warangal district, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, alleged that MRPS activists were behind the incident, but the dais was rebuilt to go ahead with the programme.

Mr. Naidu will leave Hyderabad by 8 am from NTR Bhavan, the TDP headquarters and reach Hanamkonda by 11.30 am to address the party workers meeting. Later he will interact with leaders from each Assembly constituency in the district.
