College fete begins on a colourful note

The annual cultural, technical and sports festival Cultechspo-2015 at the Jyothismathi

Institute of Technology and Sciences (JITS) got off to a colourful start here on Monday. The three-day Cultechspo was formally inaugurated by Satavahana University Vice-Chancellor K Veera Reddy, IIIT Hyderabad principal Mentor P Arun Kumar, JITS chairman J Sagar Rao, principal A R Naseer and others. As part of the celebrations, the students had exhibited various science models and won accolades for unfolding their creativity. A science model on Suraksha EAS (emergency alert system) had also won appreciations to check robberies and health emergency. Students of various other engineering colleges had also participated in the celebrations.
