October 16, 2010 01:23 am | Updated November 28, 2021 09:09 pm IST - CHENNAI:

AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa on Friday urged party cadre to take a vow to usher in the party rule again in Tamil Nadu next year.

In a message to the cadre on the occasion of the commencement of the 39th year of the formation of the AIADMK on October 17, she detailed the achievements of the party rule such as the introduction of All Woman Police Stations, Cradle Baby Scheme, controlling the prices of essential commodities, giving legal protection to 69 per cent reservation and organising the eighth World Tamil Conference.

In the last four years, the State was plagued by “price rise, power cut, hike in electricity tariff, increase in unemployment and deterioration of law and order,” she said.
