Threspuram bridge inaugurated

A newly constructed bridge at Threspuram, a coastal hamlet in Tuticorin, was inaugurated by Tourism Minister S.P. Shanmuganathan in the presence of Collector M. Ravikumar. According to a statement, the infrastructural facility was established at a cost of Rs. 30 lakh under self-sufficiency scheme and financial support from bank.

Besides, a total of 1,781 beneficiaries from Perungulam, Pandaravilai and Pannaivilai in Srivaikuntam taluk were provided with free electric fans, food mixers and wet grinders by the Minister. Tuticorin Mayor A.P.R. Anthony Grace, and Rajya Sabha member L. Sasikala Pushpa were present.
