Temporary stoppage of trains

The Coimbatore – Salem – Coimbatore Mainline Electric Multiple Unit (MEMU) passenger trains and the Erode – Mettur Dam – Erode passenger trains will temporarily stop at Anangur and Mavelipalayam railway stations, for a period of six months from February 14, on an experimental basis.

A press release of the Salem Railway Division issued here on Friday said that the train No. 66602 Salem – Coimbatore MEMU will depart from Mavelipalayam at 2.10 p.m. and Anangur at 2.23 p.m.

The train No. 66603 Coimbatore – Salem passenger will depart from Anangur at 11.51 a.m. and Maveliapalayam at 12.08 p.m.

Erode passenger

Train No.56101 Mettur Dam – Erode Passenger will depart from Mavelipalayam at 8.38 p.m. and Anangur at 8.57 p.m.

The train No. 56100 will depart from Anangur at 5.15 a.m. and Mavelipalayam at 5.33 a.m., the release said.
