When Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh addressed an election meeting at Ambur, he had a few things to say to the two Dravidian parties and Congress. First, he told the parties: “Do not give alcohol to the people of Tamil Nadu. If you want, give them fruit juice.” Going on to criticise the DMK and AIADMK for the publicity blitzkrieg, he said the photographs of leaders should not be on paper but in the hearts of people. “TN needs not photo leaders but performance leaders,” he said. In the end, he had a message for the voters. “You have seen the DMK, AIADMK and the Congress. You have seen them again and again. Look at us (BJP) for just one time.”
