In a reply to a RTI query filed by an advocate, the Chief Superintendent of Central Prison, Parappana Agrahara, Bengaluru, has said that no extra facilities have been extended to V.K. Sasikala, general secretary of the AIADMK, who has been lodged in the prison.

Responding to the application filed by advocate M.P. Rajavelayutham dated February 20, the officer, in his reply dated February 23, said that no application has been received so far to transfer her and other accused convicted in the disproportionate assets case to the central prison in Chennai.

He further added that T.T.V. Dinakaran has been allowed to talk to Ms. Sasikala for a short period every day as per the Karnataka Prison Manual, and that no other extra facility has been provided to the convicts.
