Temporary driver leaves body on the road

The temporary bus driver of a Tiruvanammalai-bound TNSTC bus, along with the conductor, allegedly left the body of a man on the road after he succumbed to a heart attack in the moving vehicle near Shoolagiri on Wednesday. The deceased Veeran, 53, of Tirukoilur in Tiruvanammalai, along with a friend, Radhakrishhnan, was returning from Bengaluru, where he was a daily wage labourer, when he suffered the heart attack.

The driver and the conductor forcibly removed the body near the bypass and forced Radhakrishhnan to get down. The latter was spotted by residents, who alerted the police.
