Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa had an ‘informal meeting’ with her Cabinet Ministers and senior government officials for the second consecutive day on Wednesday.

The nearly two-hour meeting at Fort St George, in which senior police officials also took part, reportedly centred around implementation of various developmental programmes.

Ms. Jayalalithaa, who was sworn in as Chief Minister on Monday, had held a meeting with her cabinet colleagues here on Tuesday.

The AIADMK-led front had won 203 of the 234 Assembly constituencies in the April 13 assembly elections.
