The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam has extended till Tuesday the interview with candidates aspiring for party ticket to contest the coming Assembly elections as it could not complete the process due to presence of more candidates.
Schedule missed
Even though March 7 was fixed as the last date, it could not stick to the schedule as more than 300 candidates were present on Monday.
228 interviewed
The party has completed interview for 228 constituencies till date and candidates from six more constituencies would be interviewed on Tuesday.
