: Tamil Mannila Congress (TMC) president G.K.Vasan said here on Tuesday that May 19 will give a fitting answer to Jayalalithaa’s Rule No.110 spree.

Speaking to reporters, on the sidelines of party’s campaign here, Mr. Vasan also trained his guns at the Congress on Mekadatu issue. “The Congress played a ‘double-game’ in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu on the issue of dam across Mekadatu, which affected the livelihood of farmers of Tamil Nadu.”

He wondered if Congress was even aware of its position on the issue. Asked about the trading of allegations by the Dravidian parties against each other with the State Election Commission, Mr. Vasan said the Election Commission should not remain a mute spectator and act impartial.
