21 booked for creating nuisance to passengers

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel booked 21 persons for creating nuisance to passengers in the running trains and on the platforms in the railway stations.

A special police team conducted surprise check in Salem Railway Junction and in Attur railway station and also in the trains passing via these stations.

They booked 16 persons for selling eatables without proper licence and five persons for indulging in activities which caused nuisance to the commuters.

All of them were produced in the Railway Special Court, which slapped a fine of Rs. 12,850 on them.
