Security cover sought for OPS

A delegation of AIADMK MPs owing allegiance to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi to demand Central police security cover for Mr. Panneerselvam.

Eleven MPs met Mr. Singh and requested him to enhance Mr. Panneerselvam’s security as he faced “grave threat” to his life. Rajya Sabha member V. Maitreyan, who led the team, told The Hindu , “Ever since Mr. Panneerselvam revolted against Ms. Sasikala, he has been getting repeated threats to his life.
