The final autopsy report has not found any evidence for poisoning of National Conference worker Haji Syed Yousuf or injuries on the body and said his death on September 30 was caused by massive heart attack.

The report by the Principal of the Government Medical College, which was conducting other tests, including viscera, said Yousuf died of “cardio-vascular respiratory failure” and there was no sign of any external or internal injury, official sources said here.

The report, which is likely to be submitted to Additional District Magistrate Mohammed Akbar, said there was no presence of any poison in the blood.

The preliminary report had also suggested that there were no trace of any poison in the blood and food samples taken during post mortem, the sources said.
