Aam Aadmi Party leader Kumar Vishwas on Wednesday reached out to farmers and other people in Rahul Gandhi’s Parliamentary constituency on the fourth day of his visit in Amethi and discussed the district’s development with them.

Mr. Vishwas, who is likely to contest Lok Sabha polls from Amethi, met people in Mahrajganj, Pandari (in Amethi assembly segment) and other areas of the district.

In Pandari, a nukkad sabha was organised where the AAP leader asked about development in the constituency.

The poet-turned-politician also spoke to farmers working in fields about fertilisers.

Mr. Vishwas covered some distance on a tractor and also met people near the famous temple of Durgan Bhawani.

The AAP leader and his supporters were given a warm welcome wherever they went.

Mr. Vishwas said he felt confident that he would win the trust of Amethi people and it will surely show in the next elections. He said his visit would present a challenge to other candidates, most of whom have only “betrayed” the people of Amethi.
