Two more aides of mafia brothers arrested

Almost six months after the arrest of mafia Dhalasamant brothers on January 29, the Commissionerate Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested two more of their associates from Kolkatta on Friday.

Disclosing this to media here on the day, twin city police commissioner Y. B. Khurania said one of the arrested persons was wanted in twin murder of November 2013 and the other in a pulse trader’s murder of November 2014. The police said one Lipuna alias Debadutta Das and Chandan Behera of the city were arrested from their hide-outs in Kolkatta by the strength of NBWs obtained against them. Both were produced in the court on the day.
