13 die as train hits car in Jharkhand

Thirteen persons, including five children, were on Monday night killed when the Howrah-Bhopal Express hit a car at an unmanned level crossing in Ramgarh district, police said.

The incident occurred under Patratu police station when the train hit the car near Bhurkhunda railway station in the district, Superintendent of Police M. Tamilvanan said.

Senior officials have rushed to the spot, he said.
