Swine flu toll crosses 100 in Rajasthan

The swine flu toll in Rajasthan has crossed the 100 mark with more than 900 are being treated at various hospitals.

Rajasthan has seen the highest number of A(H1N1) deaths in the country since January 1 with deaths being reported from almost all districts. With positive cases being referred to Jaipur from rural regions, the government has now being screening in the rural areas.

Referring to the swine flu cases in the State, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister J.P. Nadda said the Centre has provided all assistance to the state government and was keeping a watch on the matter.

"We have helped the State government in addressing the challenge of swine flu. A team from the centre was sent to the State and we will provide all kinds of technical and financial support to the State government over this matter," he said while launching the National Deworming Day here.
