An earthquake of moderate intensity on Sunday shook Bhaderwah in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district, triggering panic among people.
The quake, measuring 3.8 on the Richter Scale, struck the Bhaderwah belt at around 7 p.m., Met officials said.
There were no immediate reports of any casualty or damage to property.
Panic-stricken people rushed out of their homes when the quake, whose epicentre lay 7 km east of Bhaderwah, rattled the area.
