PDP MLA from Pulwama, Mohammad Khalil Band, was injured in a mob attack on Sunday night. Mr. Band was on his way to Srinagar when a mob attacked his vehicle with stones at Prechu in Pulwama.
The driver lost control of the vehicle, which resulted in the car turning turtle, a police official said.
The MLA, his security guard and driver were injured in the incident. Mr. Band has been admitted to a hospital.
