MP Opposition leader greets Bhopal on supply of Narmada water

Leader of the Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Ajay Singh today congratulated citizens of Bhopal as the city received water from Narmada River.

In a statement issued by him, Mr. Singh also thanked the Centre for giving Rs 153 crore for the purpose.

Mr. Singh said the second phase of the Narmada water project should not be delayed further and added that the waters should be supplied to every household in Bhopal.

He also thanked Vibha Patel, former Mayor of the Bhopal Municipal Corporation, in whose tenure a resolution had been passed to bring Narmada waters to Bhopal.
