Maoists burn bus in Bihar

Armed Maoists burnt an empty bus at Nagma village in Bihar’s Gaya district today, police said here.

Over 50 heavily armed naxalites surrounded the bus, pulled out the driver and helper from the vehicle and set it ablaze, senior Superintendent of Police Amit Lodha said.

A combing operation has been launched in the area against the Maoists.

Gurua Assembly segment in Gaya will go poll in the sixth and final phase of elections in Bihar on November 20.
