An earthquake of low magnitude was felt in Srinagar and other parts of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday morning, the Meteorological Department said.
“A slight intensity tremor, measuring 3.8 on the Richter Scale was felt at 7.15 AM today,” a MET spokesman told PTI in Srinagar.
He said the epicentre of the earthquake was J&K-Pakistan border with latitude of 36.8 degrees (North) and latitude 73.5 degrees East.
