Demanding a CBI probe into the scams in the Professional Examination Board (PEB), Leader of the Congress Opposition Satyadev Katare on Saturday produced a series of letters and government orders in Madhya Pradesh Assembly to prove that Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan misled the House on the issue.

Malpractices that took place in exams conducted by the board which include entrance exams to professional colleges were being probed by the Special Task Force of the MP Police. During the debate on the Governor’s address, Mr. Katare produced documents dating back to 2009 to show the medical education department itself was probing suspicious candidates who appeared for medical entrance exams
