Sayed Zaqiuddin Sayyed Daud, father of alleged key handler of 26/11 terror attacks on Mumbai, Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal, has sent a letter to Chief Justice of India Altamas Kabir and United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay, alleging mental harassment of his son in Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai.

“My son is illegally kept in isolation in Arthur Road Jail. He is kept in isolation to disturb him mentally so that he could become mad or mentally ill,” he wrote.

Mr. Daud has alleged that since Indian agencies had failed to extract any confession from his son, they had created a special atmosphere against him. “The jail authorities, in collusion with intelligence officers, have been using third-degree torture on my son. He is treated in an inhuman way and subjected to barbaric torture,” he said.

Mr. Daud claimed that the Indian intelligence was framing his son wrongly.
