J&K govt. imposes ban on bovine transportation in Samba

Jammu and Kashmir government has imposed ban on transportation of bovines in Samba district.

District Magistrate, Samba, Sheetal Nanda has ordered that no bovine animal such as cow, ox, bull, calf, buffalo be transported from Samba to other districts except with permission from the district magistrate and the additional district magistrate, Samba, a Spokesperson said here today.

The order come into force with immediate effect and will remain in force for a period of two months from the date of issuance till the same is rescinded whichever is earlier.
