One insurgent held in Manipur, arms seized

A joint team of the Imphal west district police and 6 Assam Rifles arrested one alleged insurgent and two of his supporters and recovered three AK47 rifles, two pistols and several rounds of ammunition during a search at Heirokland village in the Andro police limits, near here, on Thursday. N. Herojit, Superintendent of Police, said some houses at Heirokland village in the Andro police station limits were raided. A couple were arrested for safekeeping the arms.
