The Centre on Thursday effected major reshuffle of Indian Information Service officials in various departments, including the Press Information Bureau, All India Radio and Doordarshan. Sadhana Rout has been made ADG (Incharge) Publications Division in place of Ira Joshi, who has been appointed ADG (M&C) PIB, while R.N. Mishra has been appointed as ADG (News) NSD: AIR in Delhi and K.S. Dhatwalia has been posted as ADG (M&C) in PIB. Mamta Verma has been appointed Director (News) in DD News, S.K. Malviya as Director DAVP, Vijay Kumar the Director DFP in Patna, Dharini L. Mishra as Director Publications Division and K. Satish Nambudiripad has been posted as Director (News), DD News.
Alpana Pant Sharma is the new Director (M&C) in PIB Pune with additional charge of NFAI (Pune); whereas Prashant Pathrabe has been made Director (News) AIR-Mumbai and Smita Vats Sharma has been appointed Director, New Media Wing (RR&TD). Natasha S. D’Souza has been posted as Director (M&C) PIB, G. Surendrababu as Assistant Director, DFP Hyderabad, and Gargi Malik as APRO, DPR (Defence) in Lucknow.
