Loknath Behera to return as Kerala Police chief

Loknath Behera will return as State Police Chief (SPC) in Kerala.

The State Cabinet decided to appoint him back in the post that he had vacated when T.P.Senkumar returned as State Police Chie f after fighting a legal battle that went up to the Supreme Court.

The Cabinet took the decision based on the recommendation of a three member committee chaired y Chief Secretary Nalini Netto.

Mr. Behera is currently the Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau. He will take over charged from Mr. Senkumar on Thursday.
