The Kerala High Court on Tuesday declined the pleas of three doctors, for a directive to the police not to arrest them till the disposal of their bail petitions.

Justice V.K. Mohanan rejected their pleas when the petitions came up for hearing.

The court orally observed that if such a relief was granted, it would send a bad message to the public. If such things happened, how could pregnant women go to hospitals for delivery.

According to the doctors, they had caught the delivery on mobile phone as the birth of triplets was rare.
