District Collector P.M. Ali Asgar Pasha has said that the boundary of the land allotted to Railway Coach Factory at Kanjikode by Revenue Department officials will be demarcated by Monday. The construction of the factory would begin without further delay, he said.

In a press release here on Saturday, the Collector said 24 acres of wetland that formed part of the 239 acres given to the coach factory by the State government would be exempted as per request by the Railways.

The Railways did not demand alternative land for the exempted wetland, he said.
