Bitty, who claims himself to be Raghav Rajan, was escorted by a three-member police team. They boarded the Ernakulam-Ajmeer Marusagar Express in the early hours of Monday.

The court on June 9 had ordered, on a plea of the Superintendent of the Special Sub Jail here where Bitty was lodged, that Bitty be handed over to the jail authorities in Jaipur and that he be produced in the court as and when the police here demanded that in connection with the case of impersonation charged against him.

Bitty had been arrested from here on March 9 last year when he was working as probationary officer in a public sector bank branch at Pazhayangadi here under the name of Raghav Rajan. The police here also found that he had joined the MBA programme earlier in a college here.

Son of former Odisha Director General of Police B.B. Mohanty, Bitty had jumped parole while he was undergoing imprisonment in a rape case. The police here charged him with impersonation, forgery, and cheating on a complaint from the bank where he had worked.
