Alleges company lent Sonia’s son-in-law crores to buy its own properties at below market price
Training its guns squarely at the Congress’ first family, India Against Corruption (IAC) on Friday asked how companies promoted by Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, came to acquire properties worth hundreds of crores of rupees in the Congress-ruled States of Haryana and Delhi over the past four years with a total share capital of only Rs. 50 lakh.
Seeking a probe into these acquisitions, IAC members Prashant Bhushan and Arvind Kejriwal alleged that the companies owned by Mr. Vadra and his mother had no income from any known legitimate business activity, except by way of interest on an unsecured and interest-free loan obtained from the DLF construction company.
They charged Mr. Vadra with acquiring without any known sources of income during 2007-10 property worth well over Rs. 300 crore at the time of purchase — property whose value would today be more than Rs. 500 crore. The purchases were registered with the Registrar of Companies and can be accessed on their website, they said.
Asserting that there was a clear case for a probe under the Prevention of Corruption Act and the Income Tax Act, Mr. Bhushan and Mr. Kejriwal questioned whether these agencies, controlled by the government, would investigate the ‘son-in-law of the ruling dynasty.’
“Had there been an independent Lokpal, the matter would have been investigated,” Mr. Kejriwal said at a news conference here.
When a questioner said allegations had been made against the Bhushans and Mr. Kejriwal himself, Mr. Kejriwal said: “Investigate us. Prove the allegations. Here we are producing documentary evidence but will the government do anything? We doubt it.”
Mr. Prashant Bhushan claimed Mr. Vadra was so confident that he would not be investigated that he went ahead and registered these properties with the Registrar of Companies.
In a response to media queries on IAC’s charges, DLF on Friday referred to a statement issued last year to The Economic Times in which it said, “The business relationship of DLF Group with Robert Vadra has been in his capacity as an individual entrepreneur and on a completely transparent and arm's length basis.”
In their press conference, Mr. Kejriwal and Mr. Bhushan provided details of the business relationship between the property giant and Mr. Vadra.
The seed money for his property acquisitions came from unsecured, interest-free loans to the tune of Rs. 65 crore given by DLF, they noted, alleging that DLF, in turn, sold a bulk of these properties to Mr. Vadra at a price far below the market price.
“Thus 7 flats in Magnolia Apartments in DLF Gurgaon are shown as purchased for a total of Rs. 5.2 crore by Vadra’s companies when the market price of each flat at the time of acquisition was well over Rs. 5 crore and today each flat is worth between Rs. 10 crore and Rs.15 crore. Similarly, a 10,000 sq. ft penthouse in DLF Aralias (Gurgaon) is shown to be purchased for Rs. 89 lakh when its market price at the time of purchase in 2010 was Rs. 20 crore, and is today worth over Rs. 30 crore Not just that, a stake of 50 per cent share in a DLF owned hotel in Saket [DLF Hilton Garden Inn] is shown to be purchased for Rs. 32 crore when the market value was well over Rs. 150 crore” said Mr. Prashant Bhushan.
Alleging a quid pro quo, he said it is was well known that DLF had been given 350 acres of land (acquired from farmers) by the Haryana government for the development of the Magnolia project in Gurgaon in which Mr. Vadra was given seven flats by DLF. “Why should DLF give large unsecured, interest-free loans to Mr. Vadra and then why should DLF sell its properties to Mr. Vadra at throwaway prices facilitated by the loans by the real estate company itself gave to Mr. Vadra? What is the source of these funds? Is it unaccounted black money or illicit funds of the Congress party that are being invested in these properties of Mr. Vadra?”
Reacting to the charges, party spokesman Rashid Alvi said if the IAC wanted they could approach the court.
On whether the IAC planned to approach the courts, Mr. Kejriwal shot back, “If the courts have to run the government, then the government should resign.”
Meanwhile, the Delhi government denied it had allotted or made available land to DLF. “The Delhi government is not in the business of allotting land to private entities,” said an official release.

The news of DLF will be on the front page for few days thats all. In India only the poor people will be put behind the bars and beaten up and fined but the rich and the companies will go scot free after all they are ready to pay for the politicians. Even the media is not honest in getting out the truth
first ball six.this is what kejriwal has done.in the first of it's kind
he has questioned one of the powerful person of Gandhi's family. there
is no one can doubt his legitimate questions.some are saying that it
would be better if he has gone to the court but he is a politician now
and we expect him to behave like a politician. he score his political
points over this matter and why should not he? i m expecting another
press conference accusing any big BJP party leader because he has to
play game fare......
Frankly, this is not the best way to start a new party. If the real goal of IAC is to become a credible party trying to reduce corruption in India, the first step is to remove all the theatrics of Kejriwal and Bhushan. perhaps, Justice Hegde would be the right man. But he has cleverly stayed aloof, which itself says a lot about IAC. Kejriwal/Bhushan seem disgruntled men with huge egos trying very hard to stay relevant. After the Anna jamborie produced no results, now IAC is meant for the cameras only! If the target was Vadhra and DLF, these are private parties and what they do does not interest the nation. If the allegation is that Vadhra/DLF's connections to the Congress resulted in favours, this has not been proven. Bhushan waves documents filed with the Registrar of Companies. This does not prove guilt. Desperate people attract the media because it is Ram Lila season!
I fully concur with the views of Mr.Rajesh. Most of the readers' concern is quite appropriate. Indian leaders of the present day have grossly misunderstood and misusing democracy. Democracy is indeed of the people, by the people as to how to spend tax payers money in a best way for peoples welfare and development. They are all in unision that Parliament is supreme while truth is people are only supreme. Without a strong deterrent, they can't be disciplined. These men are misusing the illiteracy & poverty of the masses. Let us hope for good days ahead.
The Parliament has to pass that no body who is having connections with
business and industries, should not be allowed to to contest in
elections. Our beloved Dr. B.R Ambedakar has never viewed this type of
things will occur. Now the present Parliament has to take these steps in
the interest of Democracy and good Parliamentary system. Left parties
MPs have to move this issue to save democracy.
What is happening is a shame. Open corruption and nobody is able to
control it! The media should fulfill its responsibility to pursue this
matter to the very end. Unfortunately, the electronic media appears to
have come under the control of the ruling establishment, and tries to
dilute every such issue and fool the public. And a Union Minister boldly
goes about saying (perhaps rightly?) that the people will very soon
forget about coalgate, like they did about Bofors. Hope this time it
will be different. Bharatiyas - wake up!
"Why are citizens of India allowing this loot of their motherland ?"
When the power to elect a politician is given to the masses, they elect the one who gives them a TV, a quarter botle of Alcohol or a chicken biriyani. The mind set of the majority should change to respect morality, fairness, honesty and respect for law. Until then looting will continue.
It is pity to hear these types of news daily. Couple of days back,
2nd Oct I was remembering Mahatma Gandhi, he sacrificed his life for
this nation, looking at the present state of of our country, disgrace
that is what coming to my mind.I live in Bangalore. Is there any
functioning government in this country.A common man cannot purchase
a land and build a house, cannot able to provide good education, due
to high donation, school fees etc, there is no good roads, garbage's
are piled up every where, dengue fever is spreading, there is no
water, villages did not get proper power supply. What is the purpose
of voting? All the political parties wants to loot this country.
I feel this should investigated, how come the Sarakari Damad become so rich in few years. In depth CWG, Telecom scam are related to Sarakari Damad. Why A.Raja & Suresh Kalmadi nominated for Parliament committee, something is there behind the curtain. Otherwise why congress will nominate them.
What is great in all these? Kalaigner TV got 'investments' which was later converted into 'loan' and was promptly repaid with interest.
Maran's brother got 'investments' for his company and it was not to be considered as anything related to misuse of power.Every MP will be owning an Engineering college or a coal field.Similarly Vadra gets loan from a corporate. Without these perquisites what is the use of being in power?
To protect all these transactions all cabinet ministers and PM are working hard. We average citizen should watch all these and clap our hands with Mr Clean PM and listen to his speech on his efforts to national development.
One thing is to be corrupt and then when the ministers like Salman
Kurshid (allegedly the most decent of the ministers in the Cabinet)
come on television to say "yeah, people like us can get many things
for free", we know how much we citizens matter for these 'ruling
class'...its almost painful to watch these TV debates these days. Ms.
Sonia Gandhi asking her party to be combative in defending Mr. Vadra
doesn't help countering the facts either, but does the contrary. With
BJP being equally corrupt, where do we go? well we bring in the
systems that can give an incentive to be honest and huge disincentives
to be corrupt....of course at an individual level, commitment to
values have to inculcated with a strong all round education system.
There cannot be a smoke without fire. What Bushan and kejriwal have demanded is a thorough probe. What is a great deal about it. Let Robert Vadra come clean and who prevents. The very fact that the entire battery of Senior Ministers are going rounds in the various news channels defending this ordinary man which they profess that he is. Will the Ministers come to rescue of any other individual against whom they level corruption charges. No they would not. In Delhi it was doing rounds for many years that Vadra is in collusion with developers like DLf and BPTP. In my view Robert Vadra should submit himself to probe and come clean.
one fails to understand why the so called party with a diff.BJP and
supposedly clean left parties 've not bothered to rake up such a serious issue of robert vadra's sudden richness etc in the floor of the house. from this it is evident not only cong. but all opposn.parties are hand-in -gloves with the rulers to defraud the electorate.
Their "projected&manufactured differences" are 4/5 months before the elections to fool the electorates & once the elections are over rulers
&oppsns unite to cheat the voters.
It is time to support this new party. The mainstream parties are colluding to loot the
poor.
once i am also firm supporter of IAC now i am very much disturbed with the working style of Kejriwal and Co. They betrayed Anna jee. Now they are not against corruption , i feel they have their intrest to only criticizing the people on top posts. If they really want to curb corruption they should expose the big scandels in Govt. departments, how tax payed money from gov. finance. departments are looted in the name of new projects by beurocrat /other people on top posts not naming few individuals or related to the people who are in top position in politics. this behaviour only shows they also want to to enter this pool by criticizing few individuals without ant aunthetic/ reliable data. Some times it shows that it is the frustation of some Ex beurocrats.
This is the big corruption, which everyone knows, DLF in big mess in commenwealth games construction as well. They spoiled the image of the country
No point in shouting if one cannot take action against these corrupt people. Certain things are beyond proof, as the proof is always tampered and manipulated
India's corruption is found in every corner of the administration. Now question is how corruption will be removed from administration.
Congress government will not remove corruption. Then, alternative ?
General public will have to come out against corruption ]
This is just an allegation. The Hindu should not devote its front page for this. I appreciate the courage and resourcefulness of Kejriwal. Most of the UPA partners, opposition parties and fence sitters are more resourceful to secure much finer details than Aravind. But they would prefer to use that to get their pound of flesh from shady business houses. That is where Aravind Kejriwal is different from political parties. This is only a hope. We are not sure whether he will also fall into the gutter. Every man has his price.
This gives the people of this country some hope.Alas! there is at the
least some political group( though its intentions are unknown!!) that
seems to be on the right track.Let Mr.Vadra answer or go to prison!
If a company decides to give an individual loans and the individual has no assets to get
such loans, it's a bad decision on the part of the company, it could be a result of
relationship or anything else. What kejriwal and co need to prove is that dlf got something
illegal in return from this loan giving. Unfortunately media in india does not like to follow a
story only to break a story which is why today there is an atmosphere of witch
hunting.anything, anybody does is up for scrutiny and the person is deemed guilty till
innocence is proven.
The burden of proof lies on kejriwal right now and not vadra, giving loans to
people or selling products at cheaper rates may be favoritism or bad business, it does not
amount to corruption.
It is shocking to the Common Working Class to know that Son-in-laws and families of the ruling elites have been looting this country in the name of democracy. The same looters send paramilitary forces to kill the people who ask for equal economic system. All the major mechanisms of this country have been hand in glove with these dynasties allowing their loots for the last 7 decades. The working class people in urban and rural areas shed sweat to see single plate food for themselves and their malnutritioned children. In such a poverty-stricken country, sons, daughters, wives, etc loot crores by taking shelter inside democratic institutions. This is not a country our Gandhiji wanted to give for the people by driving away the British exploiters. People need a Great Revolution altering the present Parliamentary system in which the Working Class has been made mere voting tools.
It is wrong to say that civil society activists are pro-BJP or somewhere attached to BJP. I don't think why people start to talk about such ridiculous things. Civil society activists are the active builder of this nation and they have brought many changes in society through their active roles deciding many bills and acts. If they are actively raising some issue of corruption, people must take it very seriously.
I love Arvind. He's got some guts to stand up to the dynasty. All valid questions. I only hope sanity prevails and the Indian public vote the right party to power. I would give up the comfortable life of US and come back to India just to support this campaign. Hope he competes all over India and not indulge in just piecemeal politics.
@Imran,I totally agree, the Indian media has not lived upto the expectations as far as corruption charges not only against congress but all parties except may be some part of the left is concerned. One instance is the hindu writes edits on silly statements made by Mr Modi but it fails to report the corruption charges against the Gujarat government. Now Arvind Kejriwal's party is taking up these issues, hope it finds support from the media.
Even if tracks of all the deeds of the "first family" are now carefully covered up by the sycophantic agencies of the various Congress-led governments, making it impossible to "prove" the allegations against Mr. Vadra, it is evident that the Dynasty is a law unto itself. In fact, it owns the whole country, thanks to the "sacrifice" made by the Empress in 2004. Their shameless sycophants will make sure that no allegation nor irrefutable proof of wrongdoing by the first family will do any good. Even so, it is unfortunate that the Hindu, in its visceral opposition to the BJP, has abandoned its mandate to dig the truth out and has turned a blind eye, allowing the Dynasty to escape any serious inquiry into their hold on the Congress Party and, indeed, the entire country. Queen Victoria would have admired such loyalty.
A deep analysis of the boom in the real estate sector in the past decade will reveal that all over India, vested interests after doing everything directly and indirectly to cripploe agricultural productivity in their lands and then lure the hapless farmers with money to part with their landholdings. This surreptitious practice has a deleterious effect on the agricultural lands that later on get converted to plots for different types of non agricultural purposes to enrich those who already have deeper pockets. The GOI should immediately disclose the extent of lands in different parts of the country to enable the aam aadmi to know how much of arable lands have been converted into housing sites and industrial projects, in a country where millions go to bed every night with an hungry stomach, despite the so called 7% to 9 % development, due to the misplaced priorities of the government.
Among big real-estate companies, DLF is the biggest cheater. At least, I haven't seen other companies changing much of what they initially promised. DLF recently increased buildup areas for all of their apartments after they are built, i.e., for the same apartment which was built few months ago and interior work is still on-going, today they are saying the size of apartment is 1600 sq.ft. while yesterday they said it is 1500 sq.ft. for the same apartment, and they send demand letters to buyers for the increased size. And they say the reason is they ended up building more area than what they initially planned and that is why sharing the extra build-up space among the buyers. This means, in their Chennai Garden city project where there are 3500 apartments for an approx. increase of 60 sq ft. per apartment, they built around 2 Lakh sq. ft. new space which was not in their previous plan. This is a biggest obvious cheating.
This is nothing but extortion of money from the society by the people (Mr. Vadra in the present case)wielding political clout, through their unethical business ventures. Mr. Kejriwal and company are doing a yeomen service by bringing into light such murky deals and exposing their perpetrators. I wish them all long life, health and godly protection.
The quid pro quo is very difficult to establish, although the transactions prima facie appear to be quite strange. Mr. Vadera is not holding any official position and where is the evidence that he influenced the Haryana Government for allocating land to DLF.IAC knows that it would be futile to go to court against Mr. Vadera, unless they have any evidence regarding the alleged quid pro quo. That is why they are just making an allegation, which will be quite handy for the opposition parties during election time.
The people nearer to power centres become rich overnight and no
investigation happens around them. Why?
Instead of calling Arvind a BJP-B team, congress should clarify the
business details of Vadra and family.
the govt must first answer the allegations with a display of facts. Only then the courts must order an inquiry. A public interest litigation will take shape after the official reply from all the parties concerned. Apparently Vadhra is keeping himself busy in Delhi. He will make a great politician.
But who will bell the cat?
Bhushan is free to take it to court but he is not taking it to court
because the quid pro quo could not be established because of lack of
concrete evidence to prove the motive. The same documents were
published by Economic Times around 1 year back but opposition BJP did
not take it up to court as they felt they will lose the case in court
due to lack of concrete evidence to prove the motive.its similar to
how Chidu got clean chit because Swamy couldn't prove the motive with
the evidence provided.
When IAC levelled charges againt BJP president, Gadkari told IAC has
to prove the charges against him..same here IAC has to prove the
charges against Vadra in court..Let us see if Bhushan first files it
in court to understand if IAC has concrete evidence to prove the
motive to Court to nail Vadra..
How can a person with hardly 50 Lakhs as the capital can muster properties worth 300 crores within a short span of time. When he is neither a minister in any cabinet nor holding any constitutional post why is he exempted from security checks in any airport throughout India. Quite perplexing to note that all his family members have committed suicide over these 5 years period.
Congress Ministers gone off without answering the media. Now they think
that they are beyond questions.
Why is Vadra not answering the questions? Is he being trained what to
say in 10 Janpath
Seriously, I'm loosing interest in this anti corruption crusade. No tangible outcome so far.
These folks have reduced themselves to enacting the same drama any other political party in
opposition does.
We need an end-game, whatever that might be, enacted soon. People don't care if Sonia's
son-in-law is corrupt or not because we believe pretty much that corruption is endemic.
Rather than making the movement personal, they need to come up with history-changing
end-game.
People lost but for drama as much as they lost for corrupt leaders. So, what next?
This fellow Vadera needs to be subjected to custodial investigation, just like the CBI is
dealing with Jagan Reddy. There are obvious parallels between these two gents. I'm so
amused to note congress leaders falling over each other to defend the son-in-law! They
seem to be rooted in the 60's - when people of this country were utterly naive! Jayanthi
Natarajan and co should realize that people have moved on and cannot any longer be taken
on long rides!
The sitting opposition were knowing this fact in 2011,but were not doing
their job, their mps, they too were busy in making some deal,IAC had
done ther job now the people must come out and put pressure to the
govt.to investigate the matter by an independed agency, bjp will not give
pressure for an independed agency.
I would certainly wish to know if we are saying that a person having a business deal
with another entity, in this case, a real estate giant, in which one party has been
given a soft loan of Rs. 65 crore is illegal? What do you say about all the soft loans
that government gives out to various public sector companies and never get it back.
The same question arose when Mr. Tharoor was 'caught' benefiting from an IPL
auction and till date, other than a talk about morality, we are yet to see anything
beyond it. I would like for the media to turn their attention to the tons of conflict of
interest that existing in steel, aviation, real estate, coal magnets sitting on various
parliamentary panels which oversee their functioning and benefit from out of turn
allotments to them rather than focus on something that's baser to the human
instinct - the ability to be attracted to men of lower morality and the indubitable
capability of the human race to bark up the wrong tree.
The solution to this is not to make comments that courts should
investigate this or that the press should investigate this etc.
It is about what you can do, Our present political system is a loot of
the country by pretty much all political parties sans may be the
communists.
The solution to this is that you vote for the right people, Kejriwal
has started a party, work for that party and support him, only them
you can make a a change. No amount of morchas and rage is going to
solve the problem of corruption in India.
Why is Arvind team making a press conference of such allegations if he has really any proofs, does media people will give justice? Why dont they file a case?
It is a fit case to be referred to CBI or should be probed by an independent judge of the Supreme Court. It can happen only in India and the people are only mute spectators.
Arvind Kejriwal, Prashant Bhushan and team are acting as principal
opposition party and are perfectly filling the void left by equally
corrupt BJP. It will be very funny if not sad that each parties take
sides and ask for inquiry when they expose one parties leaders. I think
time is ripe for new political alternative and I hope their new party
takes off well.
Can a company in India legally give away its funds or sell its properties at grossly undervalued prices as the company officials wish? Is there an authority that oversees such transactions? Perhaps, there is no gift tax in India either. In the US, IRS website says, “The gift tax is a tax on the transfer of property by one individual to another while receiving nothing, or less than full value, in return.” I hope when a different party comes to government in Delhi, they will introduce a requirement that every citizen and entity declare their annual income and balance sheet.
India can become a multi-trillion dollar economy if the methods of those that make huge property disproportionate to their income were taught to all.
Thanks Aravind. A PIL needs to be filed for unearthing this kind of scams. Anyone found guilty in this episode, should have their and their near ones property and assets confiscated.
If I am not mistaken the present allegation against Mr.Vadra is just a tip of the iceberg and I hope more will come out sooner than later. The real picture will emerge only if a proper enquiry about the actual value of his wealth he amassed during the UPA rule. Now it became clear why did UPA Government not yet ready to heed to the demands made by IAC and so many other organisations to bring back the black money stashed away in tax havens. Nobody likes to dig their own grave.
Is it true that Mr. Vadra can bypass security at airports. In about 5 years Vadra is either going to be in exile outside India or in jail.
In a democratic country like India, rule by a dynasty is definitely an aberration. But the
greedy ldynasty is well on its way now to pull itself down. Those who want real democracy
to take root in the country have reason to celebrate.
I think what atleast we can do is not buy any property from DLF.
Most unfortunate we have such looters in "royal" family ruling us! Is there NO sense of propriety or iota of integrity in them? Pity.
Make money by hook or crook is the formula? Our tax system should be revised to seek FULL data as to HOW huge assets are acquired in short period - tax return MUST specify source of income clearly and this should be available for public information to make sure it is legal and properly earnt - not short cuts and behind scene tactics like 2G 3G scams ! But question IS who will BELL the Cat? Only public should take courage and help prevent such loot. Let us all put our shoulders together, try to stop this - God show mercy!
All know political big wigs are involved in big asset gathering for family benefit and promotion of dynastic wealth & succession! But to find such huge misappropriation by FIRST family shocking; we know such scandals are taking place in all States, but not all comes to light ! Most disgusting our own folks loot our country public wealth and try to become NEW Maharajahs, having abolished the traditional ones ! At this rate, we may go back to princely States again - for, with money power (also muscle) they will buy votes and establish reign for self and family for long long time! Till India can find another MKGandhi - better one please
Me, as a citizen of India feel lost. Not sure if there is anything we can do ? I strongly feel India only has an "Appearance of Democracy" but is not democratic country.
Our voices are not heard, our wishes are not entertained, our requests are ignored, our pleads are rejected.
"Mr. Bhushan and Mr. Kejriwal questioned whether these agencies, controlled by the government, would investigate the ‘son-in-law of the ruling dynasty.’"
The short answer is no unless forced to do so by the Supreme Court.
Leader, their wives, and their children --- now, their son-in-laws, too?? Wow, tomorrow, their going to be the parents other members of the son-in-laws also!!
Gosh, what is coming to the India??? Why are we putting-up with these ??
If this was in public domain for the last 6 months - why did the media
wait for Aravind Kejriwal to bring it in the open now? We also see
Aravind Kejriwal slowly blossoming to a politician !!!!!
These allegations have been in social media for long time but the Indian Jurnos are relcutant to pick them up, it's a shame. I appriceiate Bushans and Aravind for their effort. It's time for people to understand that they are fighting for us and support them to do well elections.
I was not big fan of Anna movement (fasting to get the things done) but the approach taken by Aravind is right way to go about. Now the pople of this contry will not have an opputunity for not complaining about no alternative.
Shameful that the Congress president is telling her party leaders to oppose this exposure. Why the party leaders need to defend this Robbert Vadra? Superb question from Imran. The mainstream media including this one is a bane on Indian Society.
Pulling up private people in media is not an ethical way. One cannot
correct a wrong by another wrong. The means to goal is more important
than the destiny. IAC could have approached the ED/IT department or the
courts to get a case opened up. If that doesn't work then they should
have come to the media. I am neither denying or acknowledging their allegation but IAC should start following a process.
cheap politics...if they are so confident, ask them to approach court
and file criminal case against Vadra...y r they indulging in these cheap
politics...
CAT is out of the bag!there have been smoke regarding mrVadra earlier in some reports\allegations and now details are coming out! if it is true or nor judicial, independent enquiry only can reveal!if the allegations are false, action should be taken against mr bhushan and co,,legaly!atleast GOVTS,. central and state should come out with truth regarding documental evidnce produced!
there should be some transperancy\sanctity in public life and ,powerful should not think ,they can get a way with anything!as mr Tata said, india can not be banana republic!
The Gandhi dynasty is a burden on India. High time for Indians to think
rationally and change the system. Unfortunately too much intellectual
energy are wasted in defending the legacy of Gandhi dynasty.
Mr Vinod has commented (asked) why citizens of India allowing this loot of mother land. Dear Vinod, almost 95% Indians are corrupt. In corporate world purchase guys are corrupt, those who want to pick up business orders bribe, most Govt officials take bribe. They will not get angry, because their own corruption will subside their anger.
Both Mr. Kejriwal and Mr.Bhushan need to be congratulated for their boldness and courage in taking on the most powerful in the country despite the obvious risks to their personal safety.
Congress ministers and party leaders jumped to the defence of Vadra on TV shows. The
shock that Sonia Gandhi and her party got from the revelations of Vadra's activities was
evident from this reaction. With elections round the corner in Gujarat and Delhi, the
Congress and its supreme leader are well and truly in trouble.
DLF is a public listed company with aam admi as share holders. SEBI should probe why they gave out unsecured loans and freebees to politicians and cronies.
Why people like A.K. Antony in Congress are not boldly stepping in to clear the mess
and help the country to get rid of this dynastic rule either directly or indirectly
Nice Political move, its important to attack people in relations to pinch
the person more.
This is no surprise! BJP and other parties must be knowing about this. These political parties are like mafia and friends. It rotates. This is the reason nobody gets convicted of corruption in India. Jagan, Raja, Kalmadi, Kamal, Praful all know this fact well. Corruption pays in India. It is a booming profession. It is remarkable that people whispered about it till now and never brought this in open. When CBI, ED and all othe investigative agency reports to same people who are the culprit whether in Congress or BJP ...story is same. Today Kejriwal and party is getting mileage out of this, tomorrow they will be in the same web. Corruption is inbuilt and is everywhere. Sonia clans are
untouchable at this point with Manmohan as a pet. Tomorrow it
will be someone like Gadkari in that situation and do the same.
It is so easy and tempting that only Mahatma and Anna like people can resist. Kejriwal or anybody in India can go against it but the outcome of all this will be zero.
I wonder what's happening in our country. Country is being looted. The extent of loot
probably is beyond our imagination. No rule of law for politicians and their relatives and many
bureaucrats. Politicians go to jail and come back to join government committees. How could
India be a raising economy inspite of all these problems? What should and/or could common
people do?
Why ROYALTY does not come out openly with facts.
Because it can not. It will not be as in Nagarwala case.
If anybody attempts to investigate he will meet the fate of investigators of Nagarwala case. The sum in Nagarwala case was just 60-Lakhs, here it is 500 Crores.
It needs to make sure people forget, as they forgot Nagarwala & Bofors.
I am 65 voted cong keeping in mind lalu scam and never bother bofors scam or any other. always criticized Inspector raj. But now it looks that lalu scam is nothing . he atleast provided one baffalo or ox to poor out of two, raised rail income. Price rise, FDI etc is not our problem but these politicians collecting money without any fullstop bother us. We poor people some time forget to submit TDS in bank and start thinking wrong is done for max 100 rupees. We paid income tax whole our carrier but now they are distributing to voters. Govt must pay Sr citizen amount to every sr citizen who has contributed paying Income tax.
DLF was expelled from Confederation of Real Estate Developers
Association (CREDAI) in May this year as the company refused to sign the
Code of Ethical Practices of the Association.
This is a serious matter needs investigation. Also it would be better if a team of judges is asked to examine the assets, declarations and sources of income of all MPs and MLAs in the country as a system overhaul.
