Janata Dal (United) leader M.P. Nadagouda on Thursday said that the former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa and some of his supporters were in constant touch with his party for over a year, but maintained that they had not discussed any issue pertaining to his joining the JD(U).
Speaking to mediapersons, Mr. Nadagouda, however, did not disclose as to what exactly the leaders were discussing in so many meetings they held.
He said that there was some fear in the BJP about the possibility of Mr. Yeddyurappa quitting the party to float his own outfit or join some other party, but such things could only be discussed in public only after he leaves his organisation.
