Woman conductor files plaint

March 01, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:58 am IST - Kolar:

A woman conductor with KSRTC Malur depot in Kolar district has filed a complaint against two vigilance squad officials alleging that they misbehaved with her.

The complaint said the Central Vigilance Squad staff S.C. Kantharaju and A.R. Kumar stopped the bus near Kudiyanur on Thursday when it was going from D.N. Doddi to Malur. Observing some discrepancies in the tickets issued to passengers, the squad said they would file a case against the conductor. However, the conductor claimed, the squad offered to drop the case if she cooperated with them privately and asked for her mobile phone number. After the bus reached Malur and was going to Bangarpet in the evening, the same members stopped the bus and allegedly misbehaved with her on pretext of picking the trip sheet from her shirt pocket. A case was registered against the squad for misbehaving with the woman staff, Malur Sub Inspector of Police R. Dayanand told The Hindu .
