Two new posts created in Karnataka police department

Two new posts of Joint Commissioner of Police rank have been created in the Bangalore Commissionerate while the Joint Commissioner of Police Crimes (West) post has been upgraded to Additional Commissioner of Police Bangalore city. Director (Security and Vigilance) of KSRTC Bijay Kumar Singh and Deputy Inspector General of Police Prisons S. Ravi have been posted as Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order - East) and Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order – West) respectively. As per the re-designation, Joint Commissioner (Crimes-West) Pronab Mohanty will now be the Additional Commissioner (Crime-Bangalore) that will inclu de Central Crime Branch.
