With the objective of developing a scientific attitude in students, Concorde International School has organised a four-day district-level science exhibition ‘Concorde Science Expo 2015’ at its campus on the outskirts of the city.

Pushpa Sarkar, Director of Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS), and others inaugurated the exhibition on Thursday.

Ms. Sarkar, addressing students, emphasised the need of encouraging students in understanding fundamentals of science and mathematics through experiential learning models.

Students from various schools from the district exhibited 300 science models on astronomy, robotics, hydraulics and electronics concepts. Other attractions at the expo are air show, planetarium, stamp exhibition and a language lab.

The exhibition, which is free for students and their parents, will be open till January 25.
