December 24, 2014 06:46 pm | Updated 06:46 pm IST - Tumakuru

State President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Prahlad Joshi said that they are ready to implement the “Anti-conversion law” but the question is whether the opposition parties will support it.

Speaking to reporters on the premises of Siddaganga math here on Wednesday, Mr. Joshi said that there is no need for people to convert from Hindu religion to other religions or vice-versa.

He said forcible conversions and conversions by luring them with facilities or benefits is not correct. He said if people belonging to non-Hindu religion want to become Hindu then they can do so.
