Minister promises new train between Hubballi and Chennai

Manoj Sinha, Union Minister of State for Railways has promised Karadi Sanganna, Koppal MP, and Babulal Jain, member of the South Western Zonal Rail Users’ Consultative Committee to introduce a train between Hubballi and Chennai via Koppal, Hosapete, Ballari and Guntakal.

The assurance was given when Mr. Sanganna and Mr. Jain met the Minister at his chambers on Friday. They discussed issues such as introducing of new trains, improving the rail facilities and amenities among other things for Ballari-Hospet and Koppal region, which had emerged as a major steel hub besides contributing freight revenue to the railways.
