Mega art show at Mahalasa School from March 9

A mega art show, where contemporary and traditional works will come to life, will be held in the city from Monday. Those who want to explore various career options in art will benefit, said the Mahalasa Art School, which is organising the show on its premises in Alake here from March 9 to 11 daily between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

More than 500 art works by its students including those that have bagged national awards will be on display, said art lecturer Syed Asif Ali. He said contemporary and traditional paintings including Kinnala style works, landscapes, drawings, graphics, and designs for advertising will be exhibited. Select photographs too will be displayed.
