Man robbed of valuables in Matsyagandha Express

A man was robbed of valuables when he was travelling from Thane to Udupi by the Matsyagandha Express on Friday night. According to the police, Sunil Shetty boarded the train at Thane at 3.30 p.m. Around 8.55 p.m., when it reached Chiplun Railway Station, a person gave him biscuits to eat. Soon after, Mr. Shetty fell asleep. He was woken up by someone at 8 a.m. on Saturday, when the train reached Udupi. Mr. Shetty found that his gold chain and five gold rings were missing. Cash in Rs. 5,000, two ATM cards, two mobile phones, and a gold chain and a gold bracelet in his bag too were missing.
