A helper working under the technical subdivision of the Central Mechanical Organisation of Krishna Bhagya Jala Nigama Ltd (KBJNL) died after a swarm of honey bees attacked him near the office premises in Hunasagi in Surpur taluk in Yadgir district on Monday. Dawalsab (49) hailed from Hunasagi village and died on his way to private hospital in Vijayapura. Another person Madansab Chowdhary, working as watchman in the Narayanpur Left Bank Canal, who also suffered injuries in the bee attack has been admitted to a local hospital and his condition is said to be stable.
